Teens are an important part of Youth Development at the YMCA of Greater Tulsa. We have several programs designed specifically with this group in mind, and are always looking for excellent leaders-in-training for our Camp programs.
FAST is for kids ages 12-15 who want to use the cardio and strength training equipment at the Y, including basic exercise guidelines, gym etiquette and safety. At the conclusion of the course, the final test is taken as a group, so those who demonstrate respect to the instructor, equipment, and other members will pass. Teens must wear their green FAST bracelet while working out.
We also have exercise classes that kids and teens enjoy, including Hoop Dance and
Youth Cardio Strength. Teens are also welcome in other group exercise classes of their choice, like Yoga and Zumba. We are also a great place for teens to work on swimming, train for triathlons, and the like. Check our Group Exercise schedule to find the perfect class for you!
