Diabetes Prevention Program
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps adults at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles by eating healthier, increasing physical activity, and losing a modest amount of weight to reduce their chances of developing the disease.
The Program
As a participant in the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program, you will participate in 26 class sessions over the course of one year that cover topics like healthy eating habits, physical activity, stress management, and getting better sleep.
