Before and After School Care
The YMCA of Greater Tulsa’s signature out-of-school time program, Graduate Oklahoma [GO Club], is here to meet out-of-school time care needs while supporting remote learning. The YMCA’s top priority is to keep children safe, healthy, and engaged while in our facility. While maintaining a healthy environment, students will be engaged in STEAM, movement, and literacy along with other enriching activities. We work closely with local school districts and parents/guardians to support students virtual learning while in the care of the Y.
In order to accomplish our top priority during this time, staff and children’s temperatures are taken before entering the building in addition to answering our health and safety questionnaire. All YMCA of Greater Tulsa staff are required to wear face coverings/masks as well as gloves. We would appreciate children wearing face coverings/masks however it is not required.
In addition to dedicated staff cleaning open to close, YMCA facilities and equipment are routinely electrostatically cleaned. Staff ensure students and other staff are engaging in proper handwashing techniques throughout the day. The YMCA also engages significantly smaller groups (1 adult:9 children) and in larger spaces to achieve social distancing while indoors and out.
We hope you will find the Y the place for your child to gain the educational, physical, and social emotional support you desire this fall and in the 2020-21 school year.
