Health & Safety

Health & Safety Update - revised 9/8/2021

Following local city and county health department recommendations, it is recommended that YMCA of Greater Tulsa members, program participants, and guests, wear a mask upon entering Y facilities and throughout the facility.

In addition, members & staff will continue to maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance while in the YMCA.

YMCA Staff will continue to wear personal protective equipment (masks) and we ask that members follow Health Department recommendations while in our facility for personal health, face coverings, and hand washing.

Waivers for facility usage will continue to be required.

Group exercise, Lap Lanes in the Pool, and the Therapy Pool at Tandy will be available only by reservation through clicking here.

Open swim times will not require a reservation.

Group Exercise classes are occurring in various spaces to encourage social distancing in addition to continuing to limit class sizes in accordance with the spaces that classes occur.

For our Play and Learn programs, we have implemented additional safety procedures for the health and safety of youth development participants and staff by requiring everyone ages 5 and older to wear a mask.

We have the following safety procedures for the health and safety of youth development participants by requiring participants over the age 5 to wear masks.

Cardio & strength equipment will continue to be spaced out to allow for social distancing.

Equipment should be disinfected before & after use by members.

We will continue to review these guidelines regularly and communicate changes through email, our website and social media to meet federal, state and local guidelines.
