The YMCA soccer league gives every child a chance to develop a foundation for the basics of soccer. Coaches will put an emphasis on dribbling, passing, and scoring. Officials will be lenient on calling fouls as children are learning and will take the time to help each child gain a better understanding of the game. Each team will play 8 games throughout the season. If a game must be canceled due to weather, a make-up game will be scheduled before the season ends. Age groups for soccer are 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 & 11-12. All teams are co-ed.

UNIFORMS

All players will be required to have the official YMCA sports jersey. The jersey is available for purchase ($25) at the front desk of your local YMCA.

LOCATIONS & PRACTICE

Practices will be held at your home YMCA branch, date and time will be determined by the volunteer coaches. Games may rotate between all YMCA of Greater Tulsa locations depending on league size.

COACHES NEEDED

We always need more volunteer Coaches to help us provide high quality and equitable experiences for our athletes! We do our very best to cap teams at 10 players each, so the more coaches we have, the more likely all our athletes get equal playing time! VOLUNTEER TO COACH

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

It is the policy of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa that no person be denied membership or program participation due to the inability to pay. Funds for financial assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP
