The YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Management Program empowers participants to better understand and manage their blood pressure through education, healthy lifestyle strategies, and ongoing support. Together, we help build healthier habits for long-term well-being.
Community As Medicine connects people with the tools, resources, and support they need to improve their health and well-being. Participants build healthy habits, strengthen social connections, and take steps toward a healthier future.
Community Health Assessment Days (CHADs) bring together the YMCA and local organizations to provide free health screenings, wellness resources and connections that help individuals take charge of their health.
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps adults at risk for type 2 diabetes build healthy habits through nutrition, physical activity, and ongoing support. Participants gain the tools and encouragement needed to improve their health and reduce their risk of developing diabetes.
Enhance® Fitness is an evidence-based group exercise program designed to help older adults stay active, build strength, improve balance, and maintain independence. Through safe, adaptable movements and a supportive group environment, participants can improve their overall health and well-being.
Livestrong at the YMCA helps adult cancer survivors rebuild strength, improve well-being, and regain confidence after treatment. In a supportive environment, participants work with trained instructors and connect with others who share similar experiences.
Pedaling for Parkinson’s helps individuals with Parkinson’s disease improve mobility, strength, and quality of life through guided indoor cycling. In a supportive group environment, participants stay active, build confidence, and connect with others on a shared wellness journey.
Moving for Better Balance is an evidence-based program that helps participants improve strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility through gentle, flowing movements. Designed to reduce fall risk and support healthy aging, the program promotes confidence, stability, and overall well-being.
Walk With Ease is an evidence-based program that helps participants improve mobility, build strength, and reduce pain through regular walking. Designed for all fitness levels, the program provides support, encouragement, and practical strategies to help individuals stay active and improve their overall well-being.
